After the holy family received the order of God to go out from Jerusalem and go to Egypt they started their trip to this land crossing all the desert of Sinai arriving to the Delta of the river Nile in the north of Egypt where they were welcomed by the Egyptian and as they had to keep moving they stopped in many points of the Egyptian Delta tell reaching Memphis near the actual Cairo from there they started to move south with the great River hiding in the caves of the mountains surrounding the river banks till they received the order again to go back to Jerusalem after the death of its King Herdo this route they made in about 3 years and 7 months’ time covering a distance of about 2000 Km. in the Egyptian land, Each spot that they have stopped was worshiped by the Egyptians and every spot they built either a Monastery or a church, All the churches that were built in the places where they stopped kept the name of the Virgin Mary Church till today, Here we follow the steps of the holy family doing the same route that they have done and visiting the most important spots where they stopped in this land EGYPT

After having breakfast at the hotel pick up by our professional tour guide to start following the steps of the holy family in the land of Egypt, drive with our modern A/C Bus to Tel Basta in the Nile Delta (90 Km. from Cairo – 2 Hours drive) to visit the ruins of the pharaonic city and the Jesus well located in the old city then drive to Mostorod near Cairo to visit the second spot where the family rested by that time this place was called Al Mahamma where to visit the Virgen Mary Church and the family spring where they take water to keep on going then we move to Sakha near Burullos lake of the Mediterranean to visit the Church of Virgin Mary, Drive back to Cairo and overnight at the hotel
Breakfast at the hotel in Cairo and drive to Wadi El Natroun in the western desert of Egypt where the family settled for a while in this area many monasteries has been built that we are going to visit 4 of them that are the most important ones, Then drive back to Cairo to visit the location of the tree that the family used to have some rest and shade and the tree is alive till now in the district of Mataryia and finally today visit to the Church of San Sergi in Zaytoun distract where it is believed that Virgin Mary appears and light the church once every year, Back to hotel and overnight
Breakfast at the hotel and check out, Visit to the area known now a days as Coptic Cairo where we will visit the most ancient churches built in Egypt including the hanged church and Santa Barbara Church where there is a small cave that the family used to hide, Then drive to Maadi District to visit Virgin Mary church laying on the bank of the River and visit to the cave that the family used and from this same sport the family started their travel by a small boat up the Nile to Upper Egypt, Then we start a drive to Menya Governorate, In the road we will have a stop in Bahnasa to visit the virgin Mary monastery, Arrive to Menya and overnight at the hotel in Menya
Breakfast at the hotel in Menya then drive south to visit Deir El Garnos and to visit its Monastery and the holy Family well and then drive to GAbal El Tir or Gebal EL Kaf to visit the monastery of Virgin Mary, drive to Assyut and overnight in Assyut
Breakfast at the hotel in Assyut and visit to the old fort and Virgin Mary monastery in Moharaq in this spot the family stayed over 6 months that made many people believe that this is a part of the pilgrim, then we drive to Dronka Mountain where to visit the cave with a lot of icons of the holy family (One of the icons was gifted to Vatican upon the recognition of the route as a religious route and part of the Pilgrim trip, Drive back to Cairo and upon arrival check in to the hotel and overnight
After breakfast in the hotel today we are going to have a look at the greatest monuments remaining from the Egyptian ancient civilization having a full day tour to visit the great pyramids of Giza with the Sphinx and the temple of the valley, Then visit to the Egyptian museum with the room of the treasures of the young Pharaoh Tut Ankh Amoun, afterwards enjoy a free time at leisure at the great bazaar of Cairo known as Khan EL Khalili, Back to hotel and overnight at the hotel
Breakfast at the hotel and transfer to Cairo international airport for final departure
